Here are five ways that you can use inbound marketing on your website. Let’s dive in!

Blogging

Blogging is such an underrated method of communication and content for your visitors. People talk about it going away and whether is it still valuable today, etc. My answer to this is absolutely!

I do not think blogging will ever go away because it is a fabulous way to add valuable content, answer your customers, questions, and build solid relationships. Not to mention, search engines use your content to drive traffic back to you!

Infographics

Infographics are very long images that contain a lot of detail and can even be shared on other websites with links back to your site.  Infographics encourage other people to click through and go to your site especially if it’s shared somewhere else. Your readers are consuming your content since they were driven there through an actual webinar. This method of inbound marketing tends to complete a circle.

Social Media

Social media can stand on its own, and unfortunately, a lot of people think of it as a standalone marketing tool.

But the best part of social media is driving those people to your website as a completion to get a tip sheet, or a freebie, to get on your mailing list, to read an article, etc. There are so many opportunities for social media visitors to your website that are under-utilized.

Webinars

A webinar is a wonderful way to drive traffic to your website.

Offer classes and courses with your content and you’re then encouraging that relationship building. Your readers are consuming your content since they were driven there through an actual webinar. This method of inbound marketing tends to complete a circle.

Local Marketing

A fifth power method of inbound marketing could be from traditional marketing practices, such as local marketing.

Doing speaking engagements and driving those people to your site to pick up a freebie from you, contact you, sell a product or service, book appointments, etc. is a fabulous way to build traffic too, and much underused by many business owners today!

In Closing

Inbound marketing is more than just a buzzword. It is a series of different types of marketing pieces that combine into a strategy that helps drive traffic, build relationships with your target market, convert those sales, and more.
